In this picture, sporting merchandise by The Mantra (his t-shirt and pin), you see one Alec Hussey. This
kid is cool shit peeps. He's a tough-ass little shit-disturber who'll go toe to toe wth anyone, even if they are gonna
kick his ass into the ground. Alec suffers from what we all call big-littleman syndrome, and he takes his licks in style.
Alec has been supporting The Mantra since roughly the end of the spring this year, and in that short time has been able
to become one of our closest friends. He has attended house shows, made it out to basically all of our local performances,
posted on our site, filmed us playing live, bought our cd, bought our pins, bought our t-shirt, and never complained about
coughing up his five bucks each week to support a strew of other great local bands as well. Alec has even brought friends
with him to shows, in an effort to spread the word. He's put show posters up on his personal MySpace, and has posted
promotional information in his MSN name from time to time.
Basically, this kid is totally bad-ass. Alec is an aspiring musician, practising his screams, his drums, and his
guitars from time to time. And one day hopes to go into concert promotion. And this month, this sweltering underage
sexpot is our fan of the month. And boy does he smell!
